Waiting means being expectant and disciplining ourselves to rely on Gods will, timing and purpose in any situation.
When it comes to waiting certain things take place
-Stress
-Frustration
-Anxiousness
-Depression
-Annoyance
Discipline of Waiting includes:
Focusing
Waiting patiently
Looking inwards
Hopeful
Patience
Consistency
Above all waiting helps us to be Disciplined.
Waiting helps us to be steadfast, focused and most importantly not to lean on our own understanding. Proverbs 3:5, Romans 12:12.
Waiting helps us to be consistent in prayers.
How often do you pray?
Waiting teaches us to be patient in tribulations.
Learn to wait on God as only His will is paramount.
Also when Jesus was suffering before death he prayed but still gave preeminence to Gods will. Luke 22:42.
In summary reading the book of Romans 8:25
How patient are we when we wait?
The most important virtue *waiting* teaches us is to be *_patient_* while we wait.
