It’s another wonderful time in God’s presence …

It’s another wonderful time in God’s presence today. God’s word for us this week is: ”The way to wealth”- John 3:27, Deut 8:18.

It is important for Christians to know that it is expected of them to blossom. It is a wrong mindset to think that Christians cannot flourish. The scripture in John 3:27 states that ”No man can receive anything unless it has been given to him from heaven”. In addition, Deuteronomy 8:18 states that ”You shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day”.

From both scriptural verses, it is evident that God is interested in the wealth of His children and gives power to get wealth since their our own power cannot get them wealth. The way to get wealth spiritually therefore is by obedience to God’s will and adherence to the following principles:
1. Principle of the seed
2. Principle of a Channel
3. Principle of a faithful steward.

Principle of the Seed
The power given to us by God to get wealth is in the form of a seed. The seed must be sown to germinate into wealth. It is the law of fruitfulness (John 12:24). Many mistake the seed for food and eats the seed along with the food. Those who sow their seeds enjoys divine wealth while those that eat their seed experience otherwise (2 Corinthians 9:6).
Our job is to sow the seed while God multiples the seed.

Principle of a Channel
It is a spiritual principle that money stays with people or organisations that will use it to make people or society better. Money goes to people who use it for a cause such as the Kingdom of God. Become a channel, all you get is not for you alone(Proverbs 11; Psalm 35:27).
The relevancy of your possession (wealth, money) is to enhance the gospel of the kingdom of God. This is an important factor in creating wealth as children of God. Do not neglect the things of Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:21).

Principle of a Faithful Steward
We are steward because everything we are and possess is given from above, therefore, a steward must be found faithful (1Corinth. 4:1-2, Luke 10-12).How you manage another man’s wealth pulls you into wealth, the unfaithful don’t get much (Matt. 25:24-29).
