Angel may be among them, at time they manifest as human beings. Angels can be found everywhere in the world. If we're not sensitive spiritually, we may miss a lots or careless in what we're doing . 1 Corinthians 2(9-16). God shows us Revelations before it happen but many people don't discern spiritually. There should be spiritual sensitivity guiding everyone to direct your thoughts. As a student pray for guidance in your studies. Proverbs 22(3) A prudent man foreseeth the evil and hideth himself. Reading 1 Corinthians 2 (14) things are discern spiritually which cannot be received naturally by ordinary man. Without spiritual sensitivity, we will depend on suspicious, judge wrongly. How to be spiritually sensitive Galatians 5(25) 1. By the words of God Hebrews 5(14) John 4(24). Worship God in spirit You'll not be deceived if you discern spiritually through words of God. 2. Ask God to make you sensitive. 3. Stay more in the presence of God all the time. Talk to him everyday. Psalms 16(11). 4. Pray in the spirit regularly. 5. Be full of praise always. Praise him not only when you're in Church. Don't wake till you have calamities before you praise and pray to God. 6. Be determined to do the will of God. Mathews 21(28-31). Obedience is good for your future. When you spend time with God, you will be spiritually sensitive thereby making you to live long, bless you speedily and block your impending calamities. Sunday Service 19 August 2018 Topic: His Presence or His Present Text: Luke 18:28-30; Gen 17:1-2; Luke 15:11-31 Definition His Presence means having a relationship with God; spending time with God; His presents means God's gifts to us Message In our journey, as Christians, we either make a conscious or habitual choice to seek God's face (His presence) or seek His hand (His gift/present) Many people might be drawn to God because of a challenge in their life and the need for a gift from God, but worshiping God and seeking his face require a conscious effort that goes beyond our immediate needs ( read John 6:22-30). God wants us to move from the level of needs (gifts) and choose His Presence. In God's presence, all other gifts are abundant. But many Christians are only seeking His hand (gifts) when they can enjoy so much more by dwelling in His presence. Deu 34:10; Deu 5:27-31 - God knew Moses face-to-face because Moses was always in the presence of God. The question is: does God know Psalm 16:11 - In God's presence all the presents we need are available, they are unending and everlasting. There are some gifts that God's Angels cannot deliver to you, only God can. We get these God-given gifts from dwelling in the presence of God. Mark 4:18-19 You cannot dwell in the presence of God and not experience abundance. Those who seek the gifts alone easily fall into the temptation of fake gifts from the devil. How to we get into God's presence and dwell in his presence 1. Become born again 2. Ask for the Holy Spirit 3. Schedule time to talk to God every day. 4. Schedule time to study His word. In conclusion We should not focus on the gifts alone but also make a conscious effort to know the Giver Message by Pastor Kaffo Have a blessed week!
