Accessing revelation

All glory to God for yet another beautiful time in God’s presence today. God revealed unto us through His word: ”Assessing Revelation” Matt 16:13 – 18
By definition, Revelation is the divine or supernatural disclosure to humans of something relating to human existence. It may also mean opening your heart to see and understand the wisdom of God regarding a matter.

We look at the same thing, but we do not see the same thing – 2 Kings 6:15 – 17. We see by knowledge and understanding – Eph 1:17-18.

We need Revelation to prevail against the gates of hell and against the plans of devil – Matt 16:17-18. It also enables us to overcome the challenges of life.

God has also revealed to us how to access Revelation viz:
1. The word of God: The book of the law shall not depart from your mouth as we need to meditate on it day and night – Josh 1:8
2. Holy spirit: When we relate with the Holy spirit , He reveals alot of unknown things to us – Jer 33:1-3, Ps 25:14, 1Cor 2:9-14

In conclusion, Revelation is a personal thing, that was why only Peter was able to answer – ”thou art Christ”
